Alexandra Dueñas

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Revive Well Home Rehabilitation Services Inc.

Alexandra Dueñas is a distinguished healthcare executive, seasoned occupational therapist, and global philanthropist with more than 30 years of clinical experience and 25 years in executive leadership. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Alexandra began her career by owning a pediatric therapy clinic before moving to the United States in 1994, where she went on to serve children and families across early intervention, school systems, home care, and skilled nursing facilities.

In addition to her pediatric expertise, Alexandra has extensive experience providing adult home care services for individuals with chronic and complex medical conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, neurological impairments, orthopedic injuries, and cardiac conditions. Her comprehensive approach emphasizes functional independence, safety, quality of life, and family support.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Alexandra has spent the last eight years serving New York’s diverse pediatric population, creating culturally sensitive educational resources and partnering closely with families—including Spanish-speaking, Hasidic, and Orthodox communities—to support children’s developmental success.

Alexandra has held leadership roles within some of the largest rehabilitation companies in the country, where she improved patient outcomes, strengthened clinical operations, and guided organizational strategy. Her expertise in growing programs, turning around underperforming operations, and launching successful healthcare initiatives laid the foundation for her next chapter: founding Revive Well.

She created Revive Well Home Rehabilitation Services with a clear mission—to bring compassionate, high-quality, culturally informed therapy directly into the homes of families who need it most. Her passion for equity, access, and empowerment drives every aspect of Revive Well’s work.

A lifelong humanitarian and devoted Rotarian, Alexandra has led service missions in Colombia, Vietnam, and Tanzania, improving pediatric healthcare, supporting vulnerable children, and providing health education to mothers in underserved communities. She served on the Board of the Rockland Community Foundation and is a founding member of the Global Healthcare Leaders Foundation.

Alexandra holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Universidad del Rosario and has completed advanced leadership programs at Harvard Medical School, Cornell University, and the University of South Florida.

With a career defined by compassion, innovation, and service, Alexandra Dueñas leads Revive Well with the belief that every child and family deserves the opportunity to thrive.

John Yarleque

Co-Founder Bio – John Yarleque

John Yarleque is a graduate of Clarkstown South High School (Class of 2025) and a freshman at Binghamton University, where he is pursuing a neuroscience major on the pre-med track. His passion for healthcare was ignited in 2022 during a humanitarian trip to Tanzania, where he witnessed firsthand the profound disparities in global health access. This experience opened his eyes to the challenges communities face worldwide and planted the seed for his lifelong mission to advance health equity.

Upon returning home, John began shadowing Alexandra Duenas, OTR/L, an experience that strengthened his commitment to service and broadened his understanding of the healthcare needs within his own community in Rockland County. Inspired by the inequities he observed, he embraced advocacy, cultural humility, and the importance of accessible care for all.

John has always been a philanthropist at heart. His involvement with Rotary began at a young age, continuing through the Interact Club at Clarkstown South, and later, during his senior year—completed at Rockland Community College—he founded the Rockland Community College Rotaract Club, creating new opportunities for youth leadership and community impact.

In 2024, John expanded his clinical exposure by shadowing a team of neurosurgeons at the Shao Clinic in Bogotá, Colombia, gaining invaluable insight into advanced medical practice and patient-centered care. The following summer, in 2025, he joined the Global Healthcare Leaders Foundation’s internship program, where he contributed to the development of a women’s health initiative under the mentorship of Dr. Annemieke de Groot, Director of Technology Assessment & Real-World Evidence at IQVIA. His work demonstrated his ability to bring a fresh, culturally diverse perspective to complex healthcare challenges.

As Co-Founder of ReviveWell, John brings youthful innovation, deep compassion, and a strong moral drive to uplift underserved populations. His goal is clear: to make a meaningful and lasting impact on healthcare—locally, nationally, and globally. His journey reflects both dedication and vision, marking him as a future leader committed to shaping a more equitable world.
